UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM
The Upper East Regional Minister Mr. Stephen Yakubu has assured delegates in Bawku that everything has been put in place to ensure a successful and incident free voting in the NPP exercise.
In an interview with GBC URA Radio in Bolgatanga, Mr. Yakubu was not happy that some individuals have issue threats to some delegates in Bawku ahead of the NPP Presidential Primary.
He warned that ‘you don’t have the right to prevent somebody from voting for his or her favorite candidate in the NPP. Anybody who tries anything untoward, the security and the law would deal with such a person.” He assured.
In a letter dated 2nd November, 2023 the Regional Coordinating Council gathered that some persons have issued threats to cause mayhem in the six constituency of the Kusaug Traditional Area in the NPP delegates conference scheduled for today.
But the Minister in charge of the region is encouraging the public to report to the security agencies any form of threats on their lives during the conference.
