UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

The parliament candidate for the Navrongo Central constituency, Alhajj Abdallah Otito Weseh Achuliwor has organized his second in a series of health screening exercises for the good people of Kologo .
According to him, health is wealth because if you have money and you are not well you have not money,therefore if we’re talking about community development,we should first of all talk about human developmen,and that is why he has started these health screening exercises since March 2024 at Manyoro now, Kologo and soon all the other communities will get their turn to improve their health status.
The New Patriotic Party PC said the constituents of the Navrongo Central calls him the “Action Man” because whatever he promises he delivers,citing the payment of the Kasena Nankana Municipal Education’s office electricity bill of GHC 24,000 and got them prepaid meter when he was not even a parliament candidate when they placed just a phone call to him. Still in the area of education,he provided snacks and water to all the just ended BECE candidates , the supervisors and the invigilators to motivate them for the entire duration to help them come out with flying colours because most of the candidates comes from far places sometimes without food.
In the area of sporting activities, strongly promised to fix the Navrongo youth resource center and hold his final rally on the 5th of December 2024 in the stadium adding that he has spoken with the director of national youth Authority and the vice president and both of them assured him it will be delivered before the 2024 general elections for the good people of Navrongo and Upper East Region at large.
The honourable Alhajj Abdallah Otito Weseh Achuliwor therefore noted,that if he can do all these things without a political power, that means if he gets the nod to become the MP for the Navrongo Central constituency,he will do more with the common fund and with his lobbying skills to improve the lives of the people.
On the current issues of cost of living,he acknowledged it, but quick to add that it’s not Ghana alone and even the alternative would have been worse and the government is working hard to turn things around. When he was asked about the current happenings in the NPP party especially the onveiling of Dr.Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to Dr Mahamud Bawumia and the matters arising from it,he said Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh was taken out of contest and for the arrogance tagged too it’s not true, because he knew him very well, and they contested each other for the NUGS presidency when he was at the KNUST and he is very humble
He took the opportunity to call for peace and unity in the this year’s elections and I appeal to them to vote massively for him and the flagberer,Dr Mahamud Bawumia to continue the good works the have started.
The health screening was done by 3 Doctors and 2 medical assistants from Tamale Teaching hospital led by Dr Moses Atinga and the screened for BP,sugar levels for diabetes, malaria,RDTs test, vaccination for hapitaties B etc and the people also came out in their numbers to partake in the health screening exercise and those with serious issues were referred to appropriate places for further management.
Dr. Moses Atinga also took the opportunity to advised the attendees to live a positive life styles, exercise regularly,eat vegetables, drink more water and avoid drugs especially the unprescribed ones to have a good health life.
