President Mahama Takes Resetting Ghana Tour to Upper East Region

President John Dramani Mahama will take his nationwide Resetting Ghana Tour to the Upper East Region from Thursday, August 13 to Friday, August 14, 2026, where he is expected to inspect key development projects, commission completed infrastructure, and engage citizens on the government’s national reset agenda

The two-day working visit will begin on Thursday, August 13, with the President inspecting the site of the proposed Bolgatanga Airport Project. He will also inspect progress on the Navrongo–Chuchuliga–Tumu Road Project, commission the completed E-Block at Paga, and participate in a Free Primary Health Care Durbar at the Zuarungu Health Centre

On Friday, August 14, President Mahama will inspect the four-storey Laboratory Complex at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo. He will also perform the sod-cutting ceremony for the Tongo–Shega–Pelungu Road Project, inspect the Bolgatanga–Bawku–Polimakom Road Project, and conclude the tour with a Resetting Ghana Citizens’ Engagement at Fountain Gate Chapel

The President is expected to depart the Upper East Region for Tamale after the citizens’ engagement on Friday, bringing to an end his two-day working visit aimed at promoting development, improving infrastructure, and interacting directly with the people as part of the government’s Resetting Ghana agenda
