UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

A society known as Pontifical Society of Holy/Missionary Childhood founded by Bishop Charles de Forbin-Janson. Children are encouraged to learn about the Catholic faith via this group. Additionally, it fosters a culture of missionary leadership among the kids, encouraging them to share their faith and material advantages, particularly with the most underprivileged kids. It encourages, supports, and promotes vocations in missionary work.
In an interview with URA Radio, Bolga, Rev. Fr. Ernest Nabonasongo, the youth chaplain of the St. Anne Catholic Church in Bongo and the priest in charge of the Pontifical Society of Holy/Missionary Childhood, explained that the group’s primary duty is to perform an act of charity as part of the celebration of Holy Childhood Week with the theme” Missionaries of Hope among the people”. The children will learn to be missionaries and to love everyone through this charitable deeds.
He went on to say that the purpose of their visit to the Village of Hope orphanage in Bongo is to teach the kids how to put others’ needs ahead of their own. He went on to say that the missionary values of the kids shouldn’t be disregarded or taken for granted.
In order to put their charitable endeavors into action as part of their celebration of Holy Childhood Week, they demonstrated their compassion for the less fortunate kids who rely on charity to survive at the Village of Hope Orphanage in Bongo. A bag of rice, gallons of oil, a bag of groundnuts, toiletries, bath and laundry soaps, packs of soft drinks, biscuits, exercise books, pens and pencils, and ten bags of water were donated to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Bongo.
The generosity of the St. Anne Catholic Church Holy Childhood, Bongo, was greatly appreciated by Mrs. Vida Anumah, a parent and caregiver at the Village of Hope orphanage in Bongo.
The youngsters in the orphanage will really benefit from these products, she added.
