UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia described Ghana as the most peaceful country in West Africa and the fifth most peaceful country in Africa attributing it to the religious tolerance as a circular state.
The Vice President who was interacting with the Christian clergy of the Upper East Region in Bolgatanga as part of his day’s campaign activities of the region also lauded the contribution of the Church towards the development of different sectors of the country re-echoeing his commitment to built a stronger collaboration with the Church to enhance its efforts in this direction.
Dr Bawumia stated that he went into politics to affect lives positively and this had been his guiding principle as seen in most of the pro-poor policies being churned out by the government of the New Patriotic Party citing access to university education by the physically challenged persons yet to come to fruition.
