Upper East NDC Congratulates Ayariga and Agalga on New National Roles

The Upper East Regional Communication Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated Mahama Ayariga, MP for Bawku Central, and James Agalga, MP for Builsa North, on their elevation to key national positions.

In a statement signed by the Regional Communications Officer, Jonathan Abdallah Salifu, the NDC said the appointments and elevation of the two lawmakers demonstrate their experience, leadership and commitment to public service.

Mahama Ayariga has been appointed Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, while James Agalga has been elevated to serve as Majority Leader of the Ninth Parliament of the Republic of Ghana

The statement said the development represents a proud moment for the Upper East Region and underscores the region’s continued contribution to national governance

The Regional NDC, led by Regional Chairman Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba and Upper East Regional Minister Donatus Atanga Akamugri, extended its best wishes to both leaders as they assume their new responsibilities

The party urged the two lawmakers to remain committed to the people, the NDC and the national interest

“The Upper East Region is proud of you,” the statement said, while congratulating Mahama Ayariga and James Agalga on their new roles
