UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

The National Democratic Congress, NDC in Chiana Paga Constituency in the Upper East Region has launched its campaign team at Paga with a clarion called for unity to win the upcoming Dec. 7th, 2024 general elections. The Constituency Executives led by the chairman, Hon. Dickson Adiali Ayagitam who welcomed the gathering were very confident that , John Dramani and their Parliamentary Candidate ,Hon. Nikyema Billa Alamzy,NBA will win this year’s election massively. On behalf of the former MPs of Chiana Paga Constituency, Hon. Abuga Pele expressed their sinserest gratitude to all the party’s executives since 1992, because they have never lost an election if not 2008, when there were divisions and when those divisions were patched , they have been winning victory to victory and not party, can beat NDC in Chiana Paga Constituency. He said leaders are chosen by God and it is the term of NBA, the young man, to represent them in parliament and called the people to vote for him and John Dramani Mahama who he described as ready to die for Ghana comes 7th Dec, 2024 , pledging his full support for them.
The former Chiana Paga Constituency chairman of the NDC, Hon. James Kupanamo, who called all the former executives to joined him at the platform, thanked the current executives for organizing a marvelous programme, that will send shockwaves to the New Patriotic Party, NPP that, they cannot win the Chiana Paga seat. He assured all the supporters that, as former executives ,they have their own programme running in support of Alhajj NBA and John Dramani Mahama and the would deliver the seat again, for the party and called all of them to be part.
The Regional Women’s organizer of the NDC, Hajia Fawzia A. Yakubu, underscored the hardships that Ghanaians are going through especially women under president Nana Addo -Dr.Bawumia led government and called all the women to rise up and vote for the NDC. She said John Dramani Mahama is coming to empower women, that is why he has chosen Prof Jane Naana Agyeman Opoku as his running mate, and will establish Women Development Bank , free sanitary pads for girls and more, therefore this year’s voting is for women and they should go out in their numbers and vote number 2 for NBA and number 8 for John Dramani Mahama on the ballot paper comes Dec 7th, 2024 or easily used the umbrella symbol to identify them.
Mr. Francis Abirigo and the others who contested the Parliamentary primaries with NBA, said he has paid his dues and must be voted for to partner John Dramani Mahama rather than the skirt and blouse campaigning going on by their opponents and asked the people not to fall for that deceit and pledged their unflinching support to him and John Dramani Mahama. Hon. Edward Ajenbadi, a member of People With Disabilities ,PWDs said people with disabilities are not being taken care of and they are facing a lot of challenges and they are voting for change but quick to add that, when NDC comes to power, the should not disregard PWDs .According to Mr Joshua Akamba, the NDC is it way to power and Chiana Paga seat is very dear to the party, that is why he’s been meeting all the stakeholders in the Constituency, investing his time and also providing logistics to deliver the seat to the party and called all their MPs in parliament today to safeguard their majority position occured by the Ghana constitution in parliament recently.
The MP for Bolgatanga Central, Hon Isaac Adongo, was very thankful to Hon Abuga Pele for giving the youth of Ghana employment through the YEA program during his time and asked for forgiveness from the people of Chiana Paga for what has happened to him in the past, because he himself has forgiven the NDC. He said the Constituency MPship has traversed lengths and breadths and it is therefore important to continue the cycle and it is the term of Paga and the have chosen a young man to follow his steps , like when the good people of Bolgatanga gave him the same opportunity to represent them eight years ago when he was also very young. He said the people of Chiana Paga committed a sin in 2020 elections, by voting 6000 for the current MP and 11,000 for John Dramani Mahama and this time they should not commit that mistake again and that ,they are looking at 20,000 votes to enable them win the ultimate power. In his response to Mr Joshua Akamba’s called for them to safeguard their majority in Parliament, Hon Adongo stated that, Ghana’s 30 years Democracy which has grown to become a beacon of hope, today it has seen clearly that, the Judiciary is the weakest link in Ghana democracy which will derail the peace march for developing sustainable democracy in Ghana and called the members of the Bench to rise up to be counted and there should not be any interference in the affairs of parliament and vice versa
The NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Chiana Paga Constituency in this year’s 7th December 2024 general elections, Hon Alhajj Nikyem Billa Alamzy assured all the party’s executives and supporters of victory to change the NPP’S government which is bedevilled with corruption, pain ,unjust, nepotism and others, for eight years. The 1st National Vice Chair of the NDC, Chief Sofo Azorka , called for unity and a massive votes for the NDC, predicting 90% for John Dramani Mahama. He allerged that the NPP’S government is going run giving appointment letters and asking the people to vote for them if not when NDC comes to power, they will sack them. He encouraged them to pick all the appointments and assured them that, they will not sack them when they come to power. The Regional Secretary of the NDC, Hon. Donald Akamugri on his part, said history is about to be made again in Upper East Region by sending a young man to parliament and that is Alhajj NBA for NDC. There were many other NDC’s bigwigs present including traditional and religious leaders amongst the enthusiastic crowd amidst with drumming and dancing.
