UE/R – NDC Chiana-Paga Constituency response to NPP Press conference in allerged violence conduct of their PC.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), in Chiana Paga constituency of Upper East Region has denied the claims by the New Patriotic Party in the constituency of misconduct of their parliamentary candidate for this year’s general election ,Hon. Nikyema Billa Alamzy.

According to them, what is circulating in the social media is blindly attempt to associate their revered incoming MP with violence and they considered it as a child-Play and an unintelligent means of tarnishing the hard-earned reputation of the honourable Alamzy which is dead on arrival and their most cherished customers will not even buy such an illusion and juvenile narration but rather depicts a party that believes in diversionary tactics and lack of message to persuade and galvanize the will of the electorates.

The Constituency secretary, Mr Kennedy Atinga Aulley who read their press statement on behalf of the party’s executives said, NDC is a social Democratic party that believes in the egalitarian of human society and a party that sacrificed and gave birth to the fourth Republic and therefore know and cherish democracy and will not toil with its ideals .

The truth according to the NDC.
The “Save Ghana Group” purported to be honourable Alamzy’s vigilante group is not true, but rather a non-violence movement that believes in the spirit of solidarity for themselves, the group and Ghana as a whole and as a matter of fact, it’s not an institutionalized group of the NDC and there are known NPP members such as Aziz Sumani, Abu Haruna, Salifu Zunga in the group and the reason been that, the all believes in the entrepreneurial and leadership traits of Hon. Alamzy and therefore associating our revered incoming MP with the group is a good omen.It’s unlike the formalized Invisible Forces of the NPP that terrorizes innocent citizens including their own patriots.

Again, the Hon. Alamzy comes from a home and knows the link between politicians and traditional rulers hence will not engage in any unruly attitude with any chief and as a matter of fact,the Chiana Pio is a friend to the NDC and it’s parliamentary candidate and has no problem with any member of the party. The NDC therefore admonished the NPP to stop using the name of the Chiana Pio who is also the president of the Upper East Regional house of Chiefs to advance their parochial interest to win sympathy especially constituents from the western zone of the constituency.

The NDC party also denied the allegation by the NPP that in the past, Hon. Alamzy committed some crimes against high profile party faithfuls such as Hon James Kupanamo, former constituency chairman, Hon Rudolf N. Amenga-Etego former MP and Hon Thomas Dalu Adda the current MP and failed to provide evidence but to say “reported by media” and could not also mentioned the names of the media houses adding that the NDC is more united than ever, and will not succumb to such cheap propaganda and conflict investing tendencies by the NPP as similar allegations against their former MP, Hon. Rudolf Amenga-Etego and the current MP Hon Thomas Dalu Adda as “Separatist” and “Old Man” could not win them the election and must learn from it if they really want to win power.
With the purported association of the PC to an unknown Burkina Faso groups, according to the NDC is a serious security issue and should not come from the ruling party that controls the security apparatus of the district and therefore ,as a party are demanding a full disclosure of such allerged groups if not the will consider it as their usual diversionary tactics for now.

Election 2024 and the way forward.
The NDC party’s executives in Chiana Paga constituency calls on the NPP party members to always engage them with contest of policies and ideas as the NDC has just ended a very successful constituency tour and all their lofty promises such as ID1F, 1V1D,PFJ etc all failed and Ghanaians are yearning for NDC to come back to power with its 24 hour economy to better their lot and urged the rank and file of the members of the NDC to remain resolute and work hard for the party to win 2024 general election convincingly to rescue the country.
