UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

The enskinment of the Bissa Chief of Pusiga over the weekends at the Pusiga Naba Palace was patronized by thousands of Bissas not only in Ghana but across Burkina Faso and Togo as well.
Chief Mahamadu Salifu with the tittled name Kir Ledinni meaning Unity Chief was enskined by the Pusiga Chief, Naba Atambis Baaluk Awiak Ibrahim Aguur amidst drumming and dancing by a number of Bissa musicians from far and near who were present at the event.
The ceremony which was attended by some Bissa Chiefs from Ghana as well as those from nearby Togo and Burkina Faso was full of joy as it presented an opportunity to relatives from across the three countries to meet and fraternise.
The Pusiga Naba after the enskinment encouraged members of the Bissas Community in Pusiga to fully recognized Chief Mahamadu Salifu and accord him the needed
respect and cooperation to enable him function effectively as a chief. He also urged the entire citizens of Pusiga to embrace peace and live together harmoniously to propel the development of the Pusiga catchment area adding development only strives in an environment of peace.
The New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for the Pusiga Constituency, Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba who was also present at the coronation event called on residents of Pusiga more especially the Bissas to stand by Kir Ledinni to enable him impact positively on the Bissa Community and beyond. He encouraged the residents to embrace peace before , during and after the December 7th elections. Hon. Hanan emphasized the importance of peace to national development saying without peace no meaningful development can take place in any community.
On his part, Pusiga police Commander, Chief Inspector Annor encouraged members of the Bissa community and to support and work closely with their new chief for the growth of the community. He pledged his outfit’s support and cooperation to the newly enskinned Bissa Chief admonishing him to refer criminal cases beyond his adjudication to the police to handle appropriately for the maintenance of peace within Pusiga and its surrounding communities.
On his part, Chief Mahamadu Salifu thanked all the various stakeholders especially the Pusiga Naba, his colleague chiefs from Burkina and Togo, the MP for Pusiga, the NPP PC for Pusiga and the Pusiga Police Command for the show of love and cooperation. Kir Ledinni plegded to live up to task to raise the flag of Pusiga very high as the general elections draws closer.
