Casper Sunday Kampoli has expressed profound gratitude to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region after emerging unopposed as the party’s Regional Communications Officer
In a Statement of Gratitude dated October 16, 2026, in Bolgatanga, Kampoli described going unopposed as the greatest form of honour and trust in an elective position
“The sages say, the greatest form of honour and trust in an elective position, is to go unopposed. So, I am eternally grateful to the great National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region for reposing this uncommon trust and confidence in me,” he stated
Kampoli extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Regional executives, constituency executives, the grassroots, and all stakeholders of the party in the Upper East Region for the confidence reposed in him
According to the Communications Officer-elect, while expressing gratitude is an important act of courtesy, the best form of gratitude will be to execute his mandate diligently
“My pledge to you is that it shall be done, and done well!” he assured
Outlining his vision for the role, Kampoli said he is committed to working strategically to strengthen the party, promote its shared vision and sustain the agenda 15/15 through proactive political communication
He however called for continued and unflinching support from all party members, noting that nothing meaningful can be achieved without unity
“I acknowledge that I am stepping into the shoes of giants whose experiences in this role will come in handy as I seek to match and even exceed their achievement
All my predecessors can expect that I would actively seek their advice going forward,” Kampoli added
He concluded by thanking the good people of the Upper East Region and the entire NDC family for their confidence and support, praying for wisdom, knowledge, strength and guidance to succeed in his new role
“Together we shall succeed. May God bless the NDC, and the good people of the Upper East region,” the statement read
