The deputy managing director of ARB APEX Bank, Mr Courtis W. Brantuo, has announced the arrival of RCBs mobile banking Solution which is currently undergoing testing of the USSD
Application with over 2,000 RCBs employees and if that’s phase testing is completed, the will proceed to launch the approved USSD Code *992# to the Banks esteemed costumers that would enable them to access wide range of banking services , such as funds transfer, bill payment, airtime top up, bank statement request and much more to enhance the banking experience at RCBs.
In this light, he strongly encourage the RCBs to actively enlist a substantial number of customers and agents as the anticipate that the mobile, internet and agency banking Solutions will bring about a transformative shift in the RCB sector, furthermore, it’s projected that if excuted effectively by the Banks, this endeavour will significantly contribute to the RCBs revenue generation.
Lawyer Curtis Brantuo was delivering his key note address in the 32nd Annual General Meeting of Naara Rural Bank Plc in Navrongo, in Upper East Region. In the performance of the Naara Rural Bank Plc, he said after reviewing of the financial performance of the bank the are excited about the good progress the bank is making, particularly striking in the Annual report of the bank is 115.66% percent jump in the profit before tax form GH ¢497,385 2021 to GH¢ 1.07m in 2023 saying that, is very remarkable performance that deserves praise of all and emulation by sister rural and community banks especially coming in the midst of all the global geopolitical and national economic challenges, it’s clear that with support from shareholders, Directors and management are doing something good, which deserves praise.
He said ARB APEX Bank is happy the shareholders increased their subscription by 5.78 percent from GH ¢2.04m in 2021 to GH¢ 5.15m in 2022. He urge the members of Naara Rural Bank Plc both home and and abroad, to subscribe to more shares in the Bank to support more businesses in Paga and the surrounding communities.
The deputy managing director of ARB APEX Bank said Naara Rural Bank Plc potential for growth is high because of its strategic location to the border which attract people from Burkina Faso to cross to transact business and therefore the Bank should develop more products and services for the communities but was quick to caution the directors and management to ensure proper credit control measures are put in place to ensure that no leakages or defalcations are experienced at the bank .
He was glad that the bank spent a total of GH¢23,730 this year alone on corporate social responsibility and hope the Bank will continue to help the people and even increase the amount because the are the direct beneficiaries of the good deeds of the bank.
