Majority Leader of Parliament, James Agalga, has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians following the outpouring of congratulatory messages he has received, describing the support as both humbling and inspiring
In a statement shared on Tuesday August 18, 2026 Agalga thanked Ghanaians across the country, while also extending special appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama, the leadership of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), his colleagues in the Majority Caucus, and the people of Builsa North for the confidence reposed in him
“I extend my sincere gratitude to all Ghanaians who have sent congratulatory messages,” he stated, adding that he remains deeply appreciative of the trust placed in his leadership
The Majority Leader reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with government and Parliament to advance the administration’s RESET Agenda, promising to champion legislation that delivers meaningful benefits to citizens across the country
“We remain committed to working together to drive the government’s RESET Agenda and to champion legislation that delivers real benefits to every Ghanaian,” Agalga emphasized
He concluded his message with the rallying call, “Aluta continua, victoria acerta” – meaning “The struggle continues, victory is certain”-underscoring his determination to serve the nation with dedication and purpose
Agalga’s remarks come as expectations continue to grow over the Majority Caucus’ role in supporting the government’s legislative agenda and delivering on key policy promise
