Addressing Members of the Assembly after his confirmation, the DCE thanked all the Assembly Members for the confidence reposed on him and therefore stressed on the need for unity and support from all stakeholders more especially the traditional rulers so that together they could develop Bawku West District to the admiration of all and sundry.
Mr Atampuna further pledged that his administration’s plan to come out with innovative ways of getting internally generated funds as well as strategies aimed at getting more non governmental organizations ( NGO’s) to the district to champion for development.
According to him, relying solely on funds from central government may slow developmental projects in the District, hence the need to partner NGO’s.
