UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

The Navrongo–Bolgatanga Choirs’ Association (NABODICA) proudly joined thousands of Catholic choristers from across Ghana at the 3rd National Congress of the Ghana National Catholic Choirs Union (GNACCU), held in Akatsi, in the Keta–Akatsi Diocese from 24th to 27th September 2026.
This historic gathering, under the theme “Building a Synodal Church in Ghana: The Choir as a Catalyst,” brought together thousands of choristers from across the country to celebrate unity, faith, and the transformative power of sacred music. The congress emphasized the role of choirs as catalysts in fostering communion, evangelization, and renewal within the Church.
Through diverse performances, workshops, and fellowship, the event highlighted how music continues to serve as a bridge between worship and community, strengthening the mission of building a synodal Church that listens, unites, and leads with love.
For NABODICA, participation was both a spiritual mission and a cultural offering. Their performances blended traditional northern rhythms with solemn hymns, symbolizing the diversity and richness of Ghana’s Catholic heritage. Each song became a prayer, echoing the congress’s call for synodality — walking together as one Church, listening to one another, and building bridges of communion.
Beyond music, NABODICA’s presence highlighted the role of choirs as catalysts for evangelization and community life. Through their harmonies, they inspired reflection on how the Church can grow stronger when every voice is heard and valued. Their journey from the Upper East to the Volta Region embodied the spirit of pilgrimage, fellowship, and shared mission.
As the congress concluded, NABODICA returned home renewed, carrying with them the conviction that their voices are not only instruments of praise but also tools for building a synodal Church in Ghana — a Church that listens, unites, and leads with love.
