NPP Upper East Unveils New Regional Officers as Executives Make Key Appointments

The Upper East Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the appointment of ten regional officers to occupy various strategic positions within the party following a meeting of the elected Regional Executives held on Saturday, August 29, 2026

According to a statement signed by the Regional Secretary, Daniel N. Ayine, the appointments were made pursuant to Articles 9(2) and 10 of the New Patriotic Party’s Constitution, which empower the Regional Executives to appoint persons to designated regional positions to strengthen the party’s organizational structure

Below are the newly appointed officers

Samuel Atiru – Regional DeputyOrganiser (Navrongo Central)

Anyass Abubakari – Regional Deputy Nasara Organiser (Bolga Central)

Ama Achumdai – Regional Deputy Women’s Organiser (Builsa North)

Patrick Acham – Regional Deputy Youth Organiser (Builsa South)

Francis Abolinga – Regional Financial Secretary (Binduri)

Francis Ayam – Regional Research Officer (Bolga East)

Kombat Isaac Tinenyi – Regional PWD Coordinator (Tempane)

Thomas Kwalase – Regional Electoral Affairs Officer (Chiana-Paga)

Lawyer Mohammed T. Nambe – Regional Legal Officer (Bawku Central)

Mumuni Issifu – Regional Special Duties Officer (Bolga Central)

The statement noted that the appointments take immediate effect, with the Regional Secretariat expressing confidence that the appointees will contribute significantly to the growth and strengthening of the party in the Upper East Region

The Regional Executives congratulated all the newly appointed officers and wished them success as they assume their new responsibilities ahead of the party’s future activities and electoral engagements
