Upper East postpones 39th national farmers day celebration

The Upper East Regional Co-ordinating Council has postponed the regional celebration of the 39th Edition of the national farmers day scheduled for Friday December 1, 2023 to Friday December 8, 2023

This postponement came after a meeting with the regional.planming committee held on Friday November 24, 2023 chaired by the Regional Minister, Stephen Yakubu

A source close to the Upper East regional Co-ordinating Council told gbcuraonline.com that the event was postponed because of financial challenges.

The source added that the new date is scheduled for Friday November 8, 2023 at Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga
