The Upper East Region NDC Ladies Force has extended a heartfelt gesture to the Center for Child Development Orphanage under the Catholic Diocese, reminding the community that the true spirit of humanity lies in caring for children, especially the vulnerable. Speaking during the presentation, the founder and president of the Upper East NDC Ladies Force, Mauricia Adaabre, expressed profound gratitude to all who made the donation possible.

“This is not just a moment of giving. It is a moment of love, unity, and shared responsibility. She  emphasizes the group’s commitment to supporting vulnerable children in the region.

A special appreciation was extended to Hajia Najat Azu, the dedicated Women’s Organizer of the France Chapter and Northern Regional Queen Mother and Patron of the NDC Ladies Force, whose unwavering support from abroad has touched lives in the region.

“Thank you for standing with us in both spirit and action,” Mauricia added.

The NDC Ladies Force also extended greetings to the Upper East Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive, regional and constituency Women’s Organizers, and all NDC party executives for their continuous support towards initiatives that promote community welfare.

The Center for Child Development Orphanage, described as “not just a shelter, but a symbol of hope,” received assorted donations such rice, maize,  shoes,  drinks,  biscuits,  soaps, toiletries and others to aid in the care of the children. Mauricia Adaabre used the occasion to call on benevolent individuals and institutions to support the NDC Ladies Force to continue such interventions across the region.

“Let us continue to uplift one another and carry this spirit of compassion wherever we go,” she urged.

The event, marked by prayers and moments of interaction with the children, underscored the commitment of the NDC Ladies Force to giving back to the community while fostering unity and compassion within the party’s women front.
