UE/R: BOLGA EAST EC SET FOR EXHIBITION EXERCISE

The Provisional Register will be display at every polling stations which will be designated as exhibition Centers. During the Exhibition Period, Voters can check the registers  to confirm the information they provided during the registration process. Voters are also allowed to change their voter identification cards, have ones that are damaged or of poor quality replaced, or have names added when needed. Furthermore, eligible voters have the chance to object to the names of ineligible voters (dead, minors, and non-citizens) on the Provisional Voter’s Register at the centers. The exercise is carried out in compliance with C.I. 91 Regulation 23(1).

In an interview with GBC URA Radio, Mr. Mark Kudomor, the District Electoral Officer for Bolga East District stated that all 51 Polling Stations (Exhibition Centers) in the District will be staffed by Exhibition Officers who will assist voters with requests about specific categories of modifications or changes to voter details (including photos). He asked for keen involvement in the Exhibition Exercise from everyone in the district and beyond.

The Exhibition Supervisor, Mr. George Konlan, together with his Deputies, Mr. Gideon Kwame Adu and Mr. Sebastian Awobgo, stated that supplies and other logistical support are provided to ensure the success of the Exhibition exercise. They further mentioned that in order for Exhibition Officials to perform their duties at the various Exhibition Centers, they had undergone the necessary training.

There will be an eight-day time frame for the Exhibition Exercise, beginning on August 20 and ending on August 27, 2024. All of the centers will be open daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
