The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced nomination form and filing fees for its 14 elective national executive positions, with aspirants seeking the National Chairman position required to pay GH¢100,000

According to the notice, picking nomination forms for any of the 14 positions costs GH¢2,000, while filing fees range from GH¢10,000 for National Executive Committee members to GH¢100,000 for National Chairman

The General Secretary position attracts GH¢80,000, while National Organiser aspirants are required to pay GH¢70,000. National Vice Chairman and Deputy General Secretary positions each attract GH¢60,000

The National Communication Officer position costs GH¢50,000, while the National Youth Organiser, National Women’s Organiser and National Zongo Caucus Coordinator positions each attract GH¢40,000

Deputy National Organiser, Deputy National Communication Officer, Deputy National Youth Organiser and Deputy National Women’s Organiser aspirants will each pay GH¢30,000

The notice further states that female candidates and persons with disabilities (PWDs) will enjoy a 50 per cent reduction in filing fees for most positions, excluding the two women’s leadership positions. Female candidates with disabilities contesting those positions will also pay half of the applicable filing fees
