UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

Maymat Montessori School held its 7th Graduation and Speech & Prize Giving Ceremony on at the school premises in Soe, Bolgatanga. The event, attended by parents, guardians, media, and school management, celebrated the achievements of its preschoolers and highlighted the school’s commitment to early childhood education.
Maymat Montessori, founded in 2019, has consistently demonstrated remarkable academic advancements. Overseen by Madam Mary Abani Baningmi, the proprietress, and headed by Madam Doreen, the school provides education from Creche to Basic 2.
The colorful ceremony was emceed by two teaching staff members, Madams Avolsure Rubinatu and Achaasiyie Vivian. The program commenced with an opening prayer by Madam Rubinatu, followed by an introduction of the news team by Madam Vivian. The graduation ceremony itself was presented by the news team comprising Geraldine Adu, Innocent Junior, Yenly Zemira, and Adita Prospera.
Madam Mary Abani Baningmi, the proprietress, delivered an opening speech, congratulating the graduates and ushering them into a promising future. She also announced that plans are well underway to expand the school to include Basic 2 by the next academic calendar, and encouraged parents to continue their support for their children and the school.
The ceremony featured various engaging performances:
- Poetry Recitals and Word Formation:Bawa Maud and Akiisa Benedicta recited colorful poems, demonstrating creativity and sharp memory. Some graduates also showcased their ability to form multiple words from a single root word.
- Bible Citations:Youngsters impressed the audience with their sharp memory skills, reciting passages from Proverbs to John.
- Modeling:Promising future models, both male and female preschoolers to Basic 1, displayed their catwalk skills, costumes, and waved to their visibly impressed parents and guardians.
- Choreography:The Maymat dancing crew captivated the audience with two sets of choreography.
The presentation of certificates and awards to the graduates was launched by the school proprietress.
- Nursery 1:Aisha Nbinge Azure was the overall best academic performer, followed by Aiden Fafali Adu in second, and Anselm Ayemsah Apubeo in third.
- Nursery 2:The acting head, Madam Doreen, presented awards, with Saphet Sung Kamfegul as the overall best academic performer, Sunday-Eke.M. Mitchell in second, and Ayaridoo Mba Subihan in third.
- KG 1:Representing the PTA Chairman, the awards were presented to Aduko Cyna (overall best), Ayanga Theda (second), and Nstah Godswill and Immaculate Abardia (joint third).
- KG 2:Mankwabsi Eled was the overall best academic performer, Asaya Jedidah came in second, and Akilsa Benedicta and Ahindanma Jadlyn shared the third position.
- Basic 1:The proprietress presented awards to the senior class, with Adu Geraldine Elinam as the overall best academic performer, Yenli Zemirat Nbung in second, and Adita Prospera and Innocent Vielong in joint third.
Madam Avolsure Rubinatu was recognized as the best staff for the 2024/2025 academic year, an acknowledgment of her dedication and stewardship.
The closing remarks were delivered by the proprietress, representing the PTA chairman, and augmented by a voice message from the chairman, Mr. Adu Gideon, who was unable to attend due to work-related emergencies. Mr. Gideon extended his congratulations to the graduates and expressed confidence in their future success, while also appreciating parents for their continuous support.
The ceremony concluded with a powerful prayer and blessing by Pastor Emmanuel Mankwabsi of the Assemblies of God – Holy Ghost, Bolgatanga.
