UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

In a remarkable gesture of support for education, the Happy Man Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey has donated 1,000 mathematical sets to Junior High Schools (JHS) across the Upper East Region of Ghana Tuesday June 10, 2025. This humanitarian initiative comes as part of the foundation’s commitment to promoting academic excellence and empowering the youth, Ghana’s future leaders.

The donation exercise, spearheaded by the Happy Man Bitters team and accompanied by members of the media, was met with immense excitement and gratitude from students and staff alike. The students, visibly thrilled by the timely gesture ahead of their upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), pledged to work hard and make Dr. Borketey and his foundation proud with excellent performance.

Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, who is also the CEO of the Charger Group of Companies, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Plus 2, and Black Legend blended Coffee Gin, used the opportunity to inspire the students. He encouraged them to study diligently, pray, and stay focused on their educational journey, reminding them that they are the future leaders of Ghana.
“We believe in the youth and their ability to shape the future of our country. These mathematical sets are just a small contribution to support their academic journey and build their confidence as they prepare for their final exams,” Dr. Borketey noted.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Charger group of companies, Northern command Mr. Atanga Alex echoed these sentiments during his presentation. He emphasized the foundation’s genuine concern for the well-being and future of young Ghanaians, stating,” the Happy Man Foundation deeply cares about the education of the younger generation. That is why our father and founder, Dr. Borketey is committed to supporting them in any way possible. He believes that with God on their side, success is inevitable.”

Over 15 schools benefited from this donation, and the headteachers and staff members who received the items expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Borketey and his team. They commended his unwavering dedication to education and social development and wished him continued success in all his endeavors.
This initiative adds to a long list of philanthropic activities undertaken by the Happy Man Foundation, reinforcing its role as a champion for education and youth empowerment in Ghana.
