UE/R: SOCO PROJECT FACILITATORS URGED TO WORK HARD FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT – DCE NABDAM

Ghanaian-American musician and philanthropist, Samuel Asaa popularly known as SamAiam, has paid a courtesy call on the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Donatus Atanga Akamugri, at the Regional Coordinating Council in Bolgatanga.
The visit by SamAiam and his team, aimed to introduce himself to the Regional Minister, share a visit, and brief him about his annual event, dubbed “Asaa Festival and Music Concert”. SamAiam, a California-based artist with roots in the Upper East Region, expressed his commitment to supporting development efforts in the Region through music, health, and youth empowerment.
“I’m here, ready to support the growth and development of our region especially the well-being of our Youth. That’s why for the past three years ,in March I always return home to help. We have been undertaken many initiatives and plan to do more as part of the festival” He said.
The Asaa Festival and Music Concert, held every March in Bolgatanga, has become a major social and cultural event in the region, drawing participants from across Ghana and beyond.
The festival’s core activities include; Mega health walk, free health screenings and wellness education, free National Health Insurance registration and renewal, an Inter-community soccer tournament and finally, a grand Music Concert featuring local artistes from the region.
The Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Donatus Atanga Akamugri, warmly welcomed SamAiam and praised his dedication to giving back to his home region. He commended the impact of the Asaa Music Festival, particularly in the areas of health and youth development, and encouraged him to continue the good work.
The Minister on behalf of the regional coordinating council pledged his support for SamAiam’s programs and initiatives.
