On the 14th day of November, 2023, the Government of Ghana and Organized Labour within the Public Service have concluded negotiation for the 2024 Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) Base Pay.

The agreement entails a 23% across-the-board increase in the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) from January 2024 to June 2024, followed by a base pay readjustment to 25% from July 2024 to December 2024.

This was made known through a press release jointly signed by the Minister of Employment and Labour Relation, Secretary General of TUC, Chief Executive of Fair Wages and Salaries Commission as well as Chairman for FORUM.
