<p>The Bolgatanga Mobil Park was lived up as Tanzui Community locked horns with Daportindongo Community in the buzzing finale of the 4th edition of the Inter Community Unity Soccer Tournament.</p>
<p>19 communities from across the Bolgatanga Municipality in attendance, the energy was palpable.</p>
<p>The two communities arrived in grand bird buses, each wearing jerseys stitched with pride and history.</p>

<p>The players walked into the pitch with determination but also a bit curious, for once they were not meeting as market rivals or strangers at the roadblocks but as footballers chasing the same rolling ball, pride and the ultimate giant trophy for grabs.</p>
<p>The match were a fierce battle with unstoppable tackles, crowd roared in high voices with one single aim, to aid their community to win the match.</p>
<p>Tanzui Community started the match as the clear favourite for the trophy and wasted no time to hit the back of the net with a sweet fluid goal scored by Bernard Boayrik in the 12th minute of the match.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-7463" src="https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034-300x200.jpg 300w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034-768x512.jpg 768w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034-600x398.jpg 600w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0034.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p>The moment the ball hit the net , the crowd erupted, not just for the celebration of the goal but beauty of the teamwork leading to the opening goal.</p>
<p>Whiles the early goal unsettled Daportindongo Community and before they could get their game back on track, Tanzui Community captain, Denis Alangdi increased his side lead with an individual brilliant in the 18th minute.</p>
<p>The first half ended with Tanzui Community leading 2:0.</p>
<p>Tanzui Community, a community that was making it 3rd appearance in the final since the Inception of the tournament in 2021, held on in the second half despite incessant pressure mounted on them by Daportindongo Community to see the game off at 2:0</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-7464" src="https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1-600x398.jpg 600w, https://gbcuraonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG-20260109-WA0031-1.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p>When the final whistle blew, there was no rush to leave as players share laughter, water and beautiful stories together.</p>
<p>Elders from the communities shook hands , some for the first time seeing eachother in years.</p>
<p>The football field was more than a battle ground for honours but a ground for unity and togetherness.</p>
