This law specifically prohibits the public spread of predictions related to doomsday scenarios, especially those involving fatalities, severe injuries, or any circumstances that could potentially disrupt societal order.

In their statement, the Police stressed the importance of practicing religious beliefs and freedom of speech while respecting the rights and freedoms of others and adhering to public interests. They designated December 27th as “Prophecy Communication Compliance Day,” urging religious groups to conduct their practices within the boundaries of the law.

The Police expressed gratitude for the compliance demonstrated by faith-based groups and individuals in communicating prophecies, emphasizing that this adherence has safeguarded the rights of those affected by such prophecies and contributed to a society devoid of unnecessary panic and fear.

They called upon the public, especially faith-based entities, to uphold patriotism by abiding by the law, ensuring the maintenance of law, order, and security in the country. The Police reiterated that while constitutional rights, including freedom of faith and speech, are guaranteed, they must be exercised while respecting the rights of others and aligning with public interests.
